On March 13, 2025, Justin Mauney, a Partner at Wake Family Law Group, contributed to the Parenting Coordinator Training offered by the North Carolina Center for Cooperative Parenting held March 12- 14, 2025. Justin participated in a panel discussion – along with a sitting District Court Judge from the 18th Judicial District and a practicing psychologist/certified Parenting Coordinator – about the Parenting Coordinator process through his experience as a Parenting Coordinator and practicing attorney, which will provide the trainees with perspective of what they can expect once certified.
Justin has been certified as a Parenting Coordinator for 11 years. This three-day training is required for all qualified professionals to be certified as a Parenting Coordinator in North Carolina courts.
