Wake Family Law Group Co-Organizes CLE Program on E-Filing Impact

Rachel Beard, a Partner at Wake Family Law Group, was the co-organizer of a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Program, on March 10, 2025 that is sponsored by the Tenth Judicial District Bar and Wake County Bar Association Bench-Bar Committee entitled: “A View From the Bench: Criminal Law.” Thanks to Rachel and the Honorable Julie Bell, this panel discussion gave attendees the opportunity to hear from three sitting Wake County judges – The Honorable Rashad Hauter, The Honorable Mark Stevens, and The Honorable Kevin Boxberger – and a practicing defense attorney, Lindsey Granados, about the impact of e-filing, procedural preferences from the bench, and more on how joining the court-appointed list can benefit attorneys’ practices.
