Steve Palmé, Of Counsel

Steve Palmé, Of Counsel at Wake Family Law Group, was admitted to the practice of law in North Carolina in 2005.  His practice has focused exclusively on family law in North Carolina for the past 20 years.

Steve received a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, magna cum laude,  from Tulane University in 1994.  He worked in the publishing industry for several years as a writer and editor before returning to Louisiana and receiving his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Tulane Law School in 2005.

Steve is a Certified Parent Coordinator for high-conflict custody cases and is has an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale Hubbell, the highest rating of professional excellence for legal knowledge, communication skills, and ethical standards.

Prior to joining Wake Family Law Group in an Of Counsel role, Steve maintained his own successful law practice in Wake County for more than 14 years.

Steve is a member of the Wake County Bar Association and has published articles in North Carolina Advocates for Justice and the North Carolina State Bar Journal magazines.  Steve also served on the North Carolina Bar Association’s Lawyer Referral Service committee.
