COVID Health Checks Now Required at Wake County Courthouse

October 1, 2020 by WFLG Attorney

Starting Friday, October 2, everyone entering the Wake County Courthouse and the Wake County Justice Center will go through new health screenings.

Face masks are already required to enter the courthouse, but now you can expect to have your temperature screened and to be asked to declare any symptoms of Covid-19.

If you have business at either of the Wake County courthouses but you cannot enter because of the health screening, contact the Wake County Courts hotline at 919-792-4242 or email at . [Please also let your attorney know!] Also, Wake County family court and Wake’s domestic violence courtroom have moved to a remote calendar call system that you can access by a smartphone or computer. [Attorneys will typically attend calendar calls on behalf of their clients. If you are a client of WFLG, we will let you know when and how you will need to participate in any remote hearings.]
