Teresa Y. Davis, Of Counsel, with Wake Family Law Group is a Johnston County native. Teresa has practiced family law for more than 25 years and is a Board-Certified Family Law Specialist. She is also a certified Parenting Coordinator, working with parents and caregivers in high-conflict custody cases.
Teresa received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service in 1995 and her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law in 1999. After graduating from law school, Teresa clerked for the Honorable Clarence Horton at the North Carolina Court of Appeals before beginning her career in family law practice.
Prior to joining Wake Family Law Group, Teresa worked as a family law attorney with Williams Family Law in Cary, where she represented clients from all walks of life in family law litigation and negotiation.
Teresa is a member of the Johnston County Bar and the Family Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association. She has also served on the NCBA’s Minorities in the Profession Committee.
Outside of the office, Teresa enjoys spending time outdoors, baking, and watching football.
