Rebecca A. Edwards focuses her practice on aspects of North Carolina family law litigation and negotiation, with expertise in a number of practice areas. She was admitted to the practice of law in North Carolina after receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with honors and distinction, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010 and her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in 2012. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society. Prior to becoming an attorney, Rebecca was a North Carolina State Bar Certified paralegal for several years. Rebecca is a member of the Family Law sections of the North Carolina Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She serves as Chair of the NC Bar Association Family Law Council Children’s Issues Committee and as a member of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Professionalism Committee. She is also a member of the Wake County Bar Association, and serves on the WCBA Continuing Legal Education Committee. She also serves her community as a volunteer Guardian ad Litem, advocating in court for children in the custody of Wake County Human Services. Rebecca lives in Cary with her husband, also an attorney, and two stepchildren.
